Cosvate-G Cream is used to manage the following health conditions:

• Infected eczematous dermatitis (a skin condition where the skin becomes inflamed and itchy)

• Atopic dermatitis with secondary infection

• Psoriasis complicated by bacterial infection

• Intertrigo, a rash that shows up in your skin folds

• Cleanse the affected area of your skin before application.

• Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected parts of your skin as directed by your doctor.

• Rub in the cream thoroughly until it's fully absorbed into your skin.

• Wash your hands immediately after using the cream unless your hands are the area being affected.

Cosvate-G Cream works on the skin in the following ways:

• Clobetasol propionate (0.05%): This potent corticosteroid exhibits strong anti-inflammatory and antipruritic properties. It works by inducing lipocortins, proteins that prevent the release of inflammation mediators like prostaglandins and leukotrienes.

• Gentamicin (0.1%): This broad-spectrum antibiotic prevents the growth of bacteria by inhibiting their protein synthesis.

• Keep Cosvate-G Cream in its original packaging to protect it from light and moisture.

• Store at room temperature, ideally below 30 degrees Celsius; do not freeze the medicine.

• Ensure the cream is kept out of the reach of children.

• It is crucial to use the cream before its expiry date.

• Avoid consuming alcohol and tobacco. These substances can trigger flare-ups and worsen skin inflammation.
