Etamsylate + Tranexamic Acid can be taken orally (tablet) and intravenously (injection).
This combination is intended primarily for use in adults aged 18 or older. It is not recommended for use in children.
This combination is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to either Etamsylate or Tranexamic Acid. It should not be used in patients with active intravascular clotting, subarachnoid haemorrhage or a history of thromboembolic events.
This combination may interact with hormonal contraceptives (like combined oral contraceptives and progestogen-only pills), oestrogens (such as oestradiol), retinoids (like isotretinoin, tretinoin), and prothrombotic agents (such as Factor VIII concentrate).
