• Fluticasone Propionate + Formoterol Fumarate may interact with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (such as ketoconazole and ritonavir), beta-blockers (such as propranolol and metoprolol), diuretics (such as furosemide and hydrochlorothiazide), monoamine oxidase inhibitors and tricyclic antidepressants (like phenelzine and amitriptyline).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• An overdose of Fluticasone Propionate + Formoterol Fumarate can lead to increased heart rate, chest pain, tremors, or seizures. If you suspect an overdose, seek medical attention immediately.

• If you miss a dose of this medication, administer it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of your next dose, skip the missed dose and return to your regular schedule. Do not administer two doses at once to make up for the missed dose.

Management of Side Effects

Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless and resolve when discontinuing this medicine. However, if you experience any severe side effects or worsening of any symptoms, please consult your doctor.

• If you experience dry mouth, try sipping water frequently or chewing sugar-free gum to stimulate saliva production.

• If you have a sore throat or cough after using the inhaler, try rinsing your mouth with water immediately after each dose.

Use in Driving and Operating Machinery

• As Fluticasone Propionate + Formoterol Fumarate can cause dizziness or blurred vision, it may affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. Avoid these activities if you experience these symptoms after using the medication.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

Caution in Other Conditions

• This medication can also cause a significant decrease in serum potassium and increases in blood glucose levels. Caution should be exercised in patients predisposed to low potassium levels.
