Ketorolac is a type of medication called a nonsteroidal anti- inflammatory medicine (NSAID). It works by blocking the production of certain natural substances in your body that cause inflammation. This helps to reduce redness and swelling in the eye.
Olopatadine is an antihistamine and mast cell stabiliser. It works by blocking histamine - a natural substance your body makes during an allergic reaction and preventing mast cells from releasing inflammatory substances. In combination, Ketorolac and Olopatadine provide more effective relief from symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis than either medicine used alone.
