Bacillus Mesentericus (2 M) + Clostridium Butyricum (4 M) + Lactic Acid Bacillus (100 M) + Streptococcus Faecalis (60 M)

Bifilac Hp capsule is a probiotic supplement that can benefit patients by improving and maintaining intestinal microbial balance.

Bifilac Hp capsule contains a mixture of four types of bacteria. These are Clostridium butyricum, streptococcus faecalis, bacillus mesentericus and Lactobacillus sporogenes.

As per the Food and Agricultural Organisation and World Health Organisation, probiotics are live microorganisms that confer a positive health benefit when administered in requisite amounts. All the probiotics are strain-specific; a particular strain has an individual health benefit.

Probiotic therapy is becoming increasingly important, and many products are available in the market. Apart from medicine or supplement, commercial probiotics are also available as conventional foods, food supplements and dietary supplements containing probiotic bacteria.

Managing the Side Effects:

Most of the side effects are temporary and harmless, and get resolved by discontinuing the tablet. These may not require medical attention. To combat abdominal discomfort, take this tablet with food. If you experience severe or persistent side effects from this tablet, consult your doctor.

Streptococcus faecalis: It is a type of streptococcus gram-positive bacteria. It helps the gut bacteria from pathogenic bacteria by multiplying and colonisation.
Clostridium butyricum: A clostridium butyricum is indicated for the prevention & treatment of antibiotic-associated diarrhoea in children. It is a typical human and animal gut bacterium, which is also commonly found in the environment.
Bacillus mesentiricus: Bacillus mesentericus is a gram-positive bacteria. It is found to positively affect children who are hospitalised with acute diarrhoea. It reduces the severity and duration of acute diarrhoea.
Lactic acid bacillus: Species like bifidobacterium have been proposed and used as probiotic species. It protects the good bacteria inside the stomach by forming a barrier by colonising the gastrointestinal bacteria.

Pregnancy

Bifilac Hp capsule is indicated in pregnancy only when the benefits to the mother outweigh the risks for the foetus.

Breastfeeding

Bifilac Hp capsule is known to cross into the milk while breastfeeding. Use during breastfeeding should be done with caution.

Alcohol

The consumption of alcohol with Bifilac Hp capsule may cause drowsiness. So, avoid using alcohol with Bifilac Hp capsules.

Liver

The Bifilac Hp capsule should be used cautiously in case of liver impairment or insufficiency issues.

Kidney

The Bifilac Hp capsule should be used cautiously in case of kidney impairment or insufficiency issues.

Using Machines & Driving

The Bifilac Hp capsule may cause dizziness in some people. As it reduces alertness, avoid using machines and driving.

Daily Dose

The recommended daily dose of the Bifilac Hp capsule is as per the physician, and it can be taken with or without food. The dosage may change based on individual factors such as the severity of the condition and response to treatment. Following the prescribed dosage and consulting your doctor before exceeding it is essential.

Over Dose

If someone consumes more than the recommended dose of Bifilac Hp capsule by accident. Immediately take the patient to the doctor of a hospital nearby. Some overdose symptoms are constipation, bloating and upset stomach.

Missed Dose

If you forgot to take the Bifilac Hp capsule, take it as soon as you remember. If it is time for the next dosage, skip the missed dose and resume the regular dosage. Never increase the dosage without doctors’ advice.

Drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.
Include foods like bananas, apples, cream of wheat, and soda crackers; these foods will not trigger the stomach.
Avoid eating spicy foods, processed pork, raw vegetables, onions, cherries, pineapples, grapes, caffeine-containing drinks, and carbonated beverages.
Eat fibre-rich foods like lentils, broccoli, and peas.
