Calak Lotion 100ml

You can use Calak Lotion for:

• Alleviating itching and irritation due to insect bites and stings.

• Soothing minor cuts, scrapes, and burns.

• Managing discomfort caused by sunburn.

• Reducing rashes resulting from poison ivy, poison oak, or poison sumac.

• Controlling symptoms of eczema and dermatitis.

• Relieving itching associated with chickenpox.

• Assisting in the management of diaper rash.

• Cooling down heat rash or prickly heat.

To get the best results from Calak Lotion:

• Ensure the area of skin to be treated is clean and dry before application.

• Apply a small amount of lotion to the affected areas as needed, usually 2-3 times a day.

• Rub the lotion gently into your skin until it is fully absorbed.

• After application, wash your hands to avoid spreading the lotion to other parts of your body or other people.

Calak Lotion is applied topically.

Calak Lotion contains several active ingredients:

• Calamine (150 g): As an antiseptic and astringent, calamine helps dry out oozing or weeping skin lesions thereby reducing the risk of infections. Its cooling effect provides relief from itching and burning sensations.

• Zinc Oxide (50 g): This mineral has excellent sun-blocking properties that protect the skin from harmful UV rays. Its anti-inflammatory and astringent properties also reduce redness and swelling.

• Bentonite (30 g): Bentonite is a type of clay with excellent absorption properties. It draws out impurities from the skin which promotes healing and reduces inflammation.

• Sodium Citrate (5 g): This salt acts as a pH buffer, maintaining the skin's natural acidity and preventing harmful bacteria from growing.

• Phenol (5 ml): Phenols have antiseptic and antimicrobial properties that prevent bacterial and fungal growth on the skin. They also numb the skin reducing pain and discomfort.

• Glycerin (50 ml): As a humectant, glycerin attracts and retains moisture in the skin preventing dryness and cracking. It also reduces inflammation.

• Store Calak Lotion at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep the lotion away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• For skin conditions managed by Calak Lotion, ensure you maintain good hydration levels by drinking plenty of water. This helps to keep your skin moisturised from within.

• Avoid excessive sun exposure, as it can aggravate skin irritation and inflammation. When outdoors, wear protective clothing or use sunscreen.
