Composition

Doxylamine (10 Mg) + Vitamin B6 / Pyridoxine (10 Mg)

Doxinate tablet is a combination medicine which has antihistamine action prescribed to women who are experiencing nausea and vomiting as a result of their pregnancy and cannot be managed by dietary modification and other home based treatments. It is most commonly used to treat morning sickness and hyperemesis gravidarum.

It is also useful in managing the vomiting due to the deficiency of pyridoxine (Vit B6) in the body. It is a prescription medication that should be taken in the dose and frequency as advised by the doctor.

The medicine does show some common side effects among certain individuals as is the case with most medicines.. However, these symptoms can be easily managed without medical intervention.

The uses of Doxinate tablet include preventing nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. (Morning sickness and Hyperemesis gravidarum)

Directions for Use of Doxinate Tablet 30

Swallow the whole tablet with water.
Do not chew or break the medicine.
It should preferably be taken on an empty stomach (1-2 hours before a meal) with a full glass of water.
Take the medicine in dosage and frequency as prescribed by the doctor.
Read the label before taking the medicine.

Doxinate tablet is to be administered orally.

Breastfeeding

You should not breastfeed while taking Doxinate tablet. Consult your doctor for further advice.

Liver
