Softeron Gold Tablet 10

Softeron Gold Tablet is used in the following conditions:

• Iron deficiency anaemia: This tablet is primarily prescribed for treating iron deficiency anaemia. This tablet supports the production of healthy red blood cells.
• Prevention of anaemia in pregnant women: This tablet is also used to prevent anaemia in pregnant women by providing a source of iron, which is essential for the healthy development of the foetus.
• Treatment of fatigue and weakness: This tablet also alleviates symptoms of iron deficiency, such as fatigue, weakness, and shortness of breath, by replenishing the body's iron stores.

• Swallow Softeron Gold Tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
• Do not change the tablet dose or take them more often than prescribed.

Softeron Gold Tablet is taken orally.

Softeron Gold Tablet contains the following components:

• Cyanocobalamin (0.75 mg): It is also known as vitamin B12, which plays a vital role in producing new red blood cells and properly functioning the nervous system. It aids in the absorption and utilisation of iron in the body.
• Elemental iron (30 mg): It is a form of iron readily absorbed by the body. Iron is essential in producing haemoglobin, which carries oxygen in the red blood cells. 
• Folic acid (0.3 mg): It is also known as vitamin B9 and is essential for producing and maintaining new cells, including red blood cells. It works together with iron to support red blood cell formation.
• Vitamin C (50 mg): It is also known as ascorbic acid. It enhances iron absorption from the diet and facilitates its utilisation in the body. It helps convert iron into a more absorbable form, promoting iron uptake by the body and improving iron deficiency anaemia.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Softeron Gold Tablet away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Combine iron-rich foods with foods high in vitamin C to enhance iron absorption. Include citrus fruits, strawberries, bell peppers, tomatoes, and broccoli. 
• Avoid consuming calcium-rich foods or supplements simultaneously as iron-rich foods, as calcium can inhibit iron absorption.
• Cook with cast-iron cookware. Cooking foods in cast-iron cookware can increase the iron content of the food, especially foods with higher acidity, like tomato-based dishes.
• Limit or avoid foods that hinder iron absorption, such as high-fiber foods and whole grains. Consuming these foods in moderation and not with iron-rich foods is advisable.
