Aciloc RD Tablet is used for managing a range of health conditions related to the digestive system. It's usually used for:

• Controlling gastroesophageal reflux disease, a condition where stomach acid flows back into the food pipe.

• Healing erosive esophagitis, caused by damage to the lining of the oesophagus from stomach acid.

• Managing peptic ulcer disease, characterised by painful sores in the stomach lining.

• Managing Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, a rare condition causing excessive production of stomach acid.

To gain maximum benefits from Aciloc RD Tablet, follow these simple guidelines:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not chew or crush the tablet.

• Take this medicine, preferably in the morning before breakfast.

Aciloc RD Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Domperidone (10 mg): This ingredient is called a dopamine antagonist with antiemetic properties. It targets and blocks certain receptors (dopamine receptors) in your brain and digestive system. Blocking these receptors helps prevent feelings of sickness (nausea) and stops vomiting. At the same time, it increases the movements or contractions of the stomach and intestines, helping food move more easily through the stomach.

• Omeprazole (20 mg): This is a type of medicine known as a proton pump inhibitor. It works by reducing the amount of acid produced in your stomach. It does this by blocking a system in the cells of your stomach known as the proton pump. The proton pump is needed to produce stomach acid. • Maintain an ideal storage temperature of 15-30°C.
