Acivir 800 DT Tablet is used to treat Herpes labialis, herpes simplex, shingles, genital herpes infection, and chickenpox. It stops the virus from multiplying in human cells and hence aids in the removal of the infection. Acivir 800 DT Tablet should be taken according to your doctor's instructions for dosage and duration. Even if you feel better, do not miss any doses and complete the entire course of treatment. Before ingesting it, dissolve it in a glass of water. It can be taken with food , but It is best if you take it at the same time every day. If you forget to take a dose, do so as soon as possible. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missing dose and return to your regular schedule. Do not take two doses. While on this medicine's treatment, you should drink lots of water to avoid dehydration and renal damage.
