Akilos-P Tablet is commonly used for the following conditions:

• Easing pain and inflammation related to osteoarthritis

• Alleviating discomfort associated with rheumatoid arthritis

• Reducing symptoms of ankylosing spondylitis, a type of arthritis that affects the spine

• Managing acute and persistent low back pain

• Providing relief from sciatica pain, which radiates along the path of the sciatic nerve

• Helping to manage post-operative and post-traumatic pain

• Assisting in controlling dysmenorrhea, commonly known as painful menstruation

• Providing symptomatic relief for headaches and migraines

• Helping in managing musculoskeletal pain conditions such as sprains, strains and tendonitis.

Here's how you should take Akilos-P Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• It's best not to crush, chew or break the tablet.

• Always abide by your doctor's instructions regarding dosage and duration.

• Remember not to exceed the prescribed dose without consulting your doctor.

• It's important to discontinue usage only after speaking with your doctor.

Akilos-P Tablet is taken orally.

Akilos-P Tablet consists of two active ingredients that work synergistically for maximum therapeutic effect:

• Aceclofenac (100 mg): As a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), aceclofenac inhibits enzymes called cyclooxygenases (COX), which play a crucial role in prostaglandin synthesis. Prostaglandins are compounds that contribute to inflammation and pain. By suppressing their production, aceclofenac effectively reduces inflammation and alleviates pain.

• Paracetamol/Acetaminophen (325 mg): The precise mechanism through which paracetamol works is not entirely clear. However, it is believed to act on the central nervous system by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the brain and spinal cord. Additionally, paracetamol influences the hypothalamic heat-regulating centre to produce an antipyretic effect, reducing fever.

• Store Akilos-P Tablet in a cool, dry place at room temperature, ideally below 30 degrees Celsius.

• Keep the medicine away from direct sunlight and moisture to maintain its effectiveness.

• Always keep this medicine out of children's reach to prevent accidental ingestion.

• Remember to check and use the medicine before its expiry date.

• If you're taking Akilos-P Tablet for pain related to arthritis, try incorporating anti-inflammatory foods like fatty fish, green leafy vegetables, and berries into your diet. These can help manage inflammation in your body.

• For musculoskeletal pain conditions like sprains and strains, rest the affected area and apply a cold pack for 15 minutes every hour. This can help reduce pain and swelling. Remember to consult your doctor if pain persists.
