Akt-4 Kit 1

• Treatment of active pulmonary tuberculosis: Active tuberculosis is a condition in which Mycobacterium tuberculosis causes infection, typically in the lungs. Active pulmonary TB is highly contagious and can spread from person to person through droplets expelled when an infected individual coughs, sneezes, or talks. The AKT-4 Kit aids in the treatment of active pulmonary tuberculosis. 

• Swallow AKT-4 Kit medications whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the medications, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
• Take medications at fixed times each day to maintain a consistent level of medication. 
• Do not change your tablet dose or take them more often than prescribed.

AKT-4 Kit medications should be administered orally.

• Ethambutol: Ethambutol, an active ingredient in AKT-4 Kit, is an antimicrobial drug that inhibits the growth of tuberculosis (TB) bacteria by interfering with their cell wall synthesis. It prevents the bacteria from forming a protective outer layer, making them more susceptible to the effects of other anti-TB drugs.
• Isoniazid: Isoniazid is also an antimicrobial drug used in TB treatment. It kills or inhibits the growth of TB bacteria by disrupting their cell wall synthesis. Isoniazid is highly effective against drug-susceptible TB strains and essential to the standard anti-TB treatment regimen.
• Pyrazinamide: Pyrazinamide is an antimicrobial drug specifically targeting TB bacteria in their dormant form, less susceptible to other drugs. Pyrazinamide works by disrupting the metabolism of the bacteria, leading to their death. It helps shorten the treatment duration and improve the overall regimen's effectiveness.
• Rifampicin: Rifampicin is a potent antimicrobial drug that is effective against both drug-susceptible and some drug-resistant strains of TB. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial RNA, thereby preventing the growth and replication of TB bacteria. 

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep AKT-4 Kit away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Maintain a balanced diet that includes a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. A balanced diet provides essential nutrients to support your immune system and overall well-being.
• Include protein-rich foods, such as lean meats, poultry, fish, eggs, legumes, nuts, and dairy products. Protein aids in tissue repair and helps to strengthen the immune system.
• Drink plenty of fluids, especially water, to stay hydrated. Good hydration helps maintain optimal body functions and supports the body's natural detoxification processes.
• Limit or avoid alcohol consumption, as it can interfere with the effectiveness of TB medications and weaken the immune system. Additionally, avoid tobacco in all forms, as it can worsen respiratory symptoms and increase the risk of complications.
• Engage in regular physical activity that suits your fitness level and health condition. Exercise helps improve lung capacity, circulation, and overall fitness. 
• Follow good hygiene practices, such as regular hand washing, covering your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, and using tissues to prevent the spread of infection.
• Get your infants and young children vaccinated with BCG to prevent tuberculosis in later life.
