Albendazole is used to treat infections caused by various worms, such as roundworms, hookworms, pinworms, and tapeworms. It effectively treats conditions like neurocysticercosis, hydatid disease, and giardiasis. It works by preventing the worms from absorbing glucose, causing them to lose energy and die.

Albendazole tablet should be swallowed as a whole; do not chew or crush the tablet.
