Aldactone 100 Tablet is used in managing the following health conditions:

• High blood pressure, when combined with other medicines and a lowsodium diet.

• Certain types of heart failure (NYHA Class III to IV) to improve survival and control fluid buildup.

• Fluid overload in liver disease unresponsive to fluid and salt restriction.

• Nephrotic syndrome, when standard treatments are ineffective.

• Presurgical management of primary hyperaldosteronism, and longterm maintenance in cases where surgery is not an option.

• Prevention of low blood potassium levels.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.

• Aim to take your medicine at the same time each day, preferably before 6 pm to prevent excessive urination at night.

• If you are feeling well, continue taking this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

• Always discuss any changes in dosage with your doctor.

Aldactone 100 Tablet is taken orally.

Aldactone 100 Tablet contains spironolactone (100 mg), which works on the body in the following ways:
