Amtas-AT 25 Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing high blood pressure

• Prevention and management of angina pectoris, a condition where the heart muscle doesn't receive enough oxygen-rich blood, causing chest pain.

Here's how you should take Amtas-AT 25 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew it.

• Take this medication consistently at the same time every day to get the most benefit from it.

• Do not stop taking this medicine unless advised by your doctor. Stopping suddenly may lead to serious health complications.

Amtas-AT 25 Tablet is taken orally.

Amtas-AT 25 Tablet contains two active ingredients that work together to manage high blood pressure and prevent angina:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): This component belongs to the dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker class, which means it inhibits the movement of calcium ions into the heart and blood vessel muscles. This action helps relax and widen the blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily and reducing blood pressure.

• Atenolol (25 mg): This is a beta1-selective (cardioselective) adrenoreceptor blocking agent. It works by blocking the action of certain natural chemicals in your body, such as epinephrine, on the heart and blood vessels. Doing so reduces heart rate and blood pressure and strains the heart.

• Store Amtas-AT 25 Tablet at room temperature.

• Keep away from light and moisture to maintain its effectiveness.

• Ensure the medicine is out of reach and sight of children.
