Amtas-AT Tablet is used for the following:

Here's how to take Amtas-AT Tablet :

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Refrain from crushing, chewing or breaking the tablet.

• Always take this medicine around the same time each day to maintain consistent blood pressure levels.

• If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it's nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule.

• Remember not to alter your dosage without consulting your doctor.

Amtas-AT Tablet is taken orally.

Amtas-AT Tablet consists of two active ingredients that work together to manage blood pressure:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): This ingredient belongs to a group of medicines called calcium channel blockers from the dihydropyridine class. Its function is to relax the smooth muscles in the arterial walls, which leads to wider blood vessels and improved blood flow. This process decreases workload on the heart and helps reduce high blood pressure.

• Atenolol (50 mg): This component is a selective beta-1 adrenergic receptor antagonist.
