Anaflam Gel 20gm

Anaflam Gel 20gm is used for managing pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal conditions such as sprains, strains, joint stiffness, and inflammatory joint pain. It is a topical analgesic gel. Its unique blend of active ingredients is diclofenac, methyl salicylate, menthol, and linseed oil, which works synergistically to deliver localised relief. Diclofenac helps by reducing inflammation and alleviating pain through its NSAID properties. Methyl salicylate and menthol provide a cooling effect followed by a warming sensation, soothing the skin and interrupting the transmission of pain signals. Linseed oil complements these actions by soothing sore muscles and supporting skin health. This gel is easy to apply and absorbs quickly, ensuring minimal residue. It can be used for acute conditions, such as sports injuries, muscle stiffness, and chronic joint pain related to arthritis. 

• Diclofenac (1.16% w/w): This NSAID helps manage pain, swelling, and inflammation by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are responsible for pain and swelling.
   
• Linseed Oil (3% w/w): This natural oil helps soothe sore muscles and supports the skin’s health by providing anti-inflammatory benefits.
   
• Menthol (5% w/w): This provides a cooling sensation, followed by warmth, soothes the affected area and helps reduce discomfort.
   
• Methyl Salicylate (10% w/w): This compound helps reduce inflammation and enhances blood flow to the affected area, helping in muscle relaxation.
   
• Other Ingredients: Benzyl Alcohol (as preservative) IP, Gel base qs.

• Gently massage Anaflam Gel into the affected area.
• Allow the gel to dry for at least 10 minutes before covering the area.
• Wash hands after application unless used for hand pain.
• Do not apply on broken skin or use with heat wraps.
