Aquim T Eye Drops are used for the following health conditions:

• Management of dry eye syndrome

• Offering relief from discomfort associated with dry eyes

• Easing irritation due to insufficient tear production

• Protection from further eye irritation

• Moistening of contact lenses

• Assistance in the management of artificial eyes

Here's how you should use Aquim T Eye Drops:

• Always wash your hands before use.

• Tilt your head back and pull down your lower eyelid to make a pocket.

• Squeeze the prescribed number of drops into this pocket, without touching your eye or eyelid.

• Close your eyes gently for 1 to 2 minutes. Apply gentle pressure at the inside corner of the eye to prevent the drops from draining out.

• If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using these drops and wait for at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.

• Be careful not to touch any surface with the tip of the dropper to avoid contamination.

• Use the solution within one month after opening the container.

• If you're using any other eye medications, ensure a gap of at least 5 minutes between each application.

Aquim T Eye Drops are instilled topically.

Aquim T Eye Drops comprise two active ingredients:

• Sodium Hyaluronate (0.18%): Being a glycosaminoglycan and a natural component of tears, sodium hyaluronate possesses excellent water-retaining properties that help keep the eyes moist. It coats the cornea, thereby reducing water evaporation from the eye surface. Its viscoelastic properties also contribute to stabilising the tear film.

• Oxychloro Complex (0.005%): This element is a mixture of electrolytes, including potassium, calcium, and magnesium. Its function is to enhance the osmolarity of tears and maintain an electrolyte balance on the surface of the eye thus preventing it from drying out.

These ingredients work together in supplementing and stabilising the tear film, hydrating, and lubricating the eyes, and prolonging tear breakup time, which provides long-lasting relief from dry eye symptoms.

• Keep Aquim T Eye Drops in a cool place, preferably below 30°C; avoid freezing.

• Make sure the bottle is tightly closed when not in use to prevent contamination.

• Store the eye drops away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Always keep this medicine out of sight and reach of children.
