Arzep Nasal Spray 10ml

Arzep Nasal Spray is used for managing the following conditions:

• Alleviation of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis, such as an irritated nose, sneezing, and congestion.

• Management of perennial allergic rhinitis, a year-round allergy resulting from exposure to indoor allergens like dust mites or pet dander.

• Before using, make sure your nostrils are clear.

• Tilt your head forward slightly and insert the nozzle into one nostril.

• Press down on the pump to release a spray while breathing in through your nose.

• Repeat this process for the other nostril if needed.

• For accurate dosing and full effects of the medicine, ensure you use it regularly at evenly spaced intervals. However, never adjust the dosage without your doctor's approval.

Arzep Nasal Spray is administered intranasally.

Arzep Nasal Spray contains azelastine (140 mcg), which works on your body in the following ways:

• Histamine H1-Receptor Antagonist: Azelastine acts as a potent antagonist for histamine H1-receptor. Essentially, it attaches itself to these receptors and stops histamine from binding to them. This prevents histamine from triggering an allergic response.

• Inhibition of Allergic Chemicals: By blocking the action of histamine on H1-receptors, azelastine halts the release of other chemicals involved in allergic reactions. This means it helps reduce allergy symptoms.

• Mast-Cell Stabilisation: Azelastine has properties that stabilise mast cells. These cells are responsible for releasing substances like histamines during an allergic reaction. By stabilising these cells, azelastine helps prevent the onset of allergic reactions.

• Anti-Inflammatory Properties: Lastly, azelastine has anti-inflammatory properties. This means it reduces inflammation in your nasal passages, helping to alleviate symptoms like congestion and discomfort.

• Store Arzep Nasal Spray at room temperature below 30°C.

• Keep the medicine in an upright position with the dust cap in place.

• Protect it from light.

• Make sure it is out of reach of children.
