Asthakind-DX Junior Syrup is used for the following:

• Management of common cold symptoms

• Providing relief from flu ailments

• Alleviation of allergies and associated symptoms

• Relief from hay fever and associated discomforts

• Management of upper respiratory tract infections

• Suppression of persistent coughing

• Reduction of nasal congestion due to swollen mucous membranes

• Providing relief from watery and itchy eyes

• Assisting in calming an itchy nose or throat.

Administer Asthakind-DX Junior Syrup to your child as follows:

• Make sure to shake the bottle well before each use.

• Use the included measuring cup to give the correct dose to your child.

• Remember to recap the bottle properly after use.

• This medicine is sugar-based and needs caution for use in diabetic patients. If your child has diabetes, consult your doctor before giving them this medicine.

• You must consult your doctor for specific advice on administering this medicine to your child.

Asthakind-DX Junior Syrup is given orally.

Asthakind-DX Junior Syrup contains three active ingredients:

• Chlorpheniramine maleate (1 mg): This is an antihistamine that works by blocking histamine H1 receptors in the body. By doing this, it prevents histamine from causing allergy symptoms like a runny nose or sneezing.

• Dextromethorphan (5 mg): This ingredient is a cough suppressant. It acts on the brain to reduce the cough reflex, helping to manage coughing without addressing its underlying cause.

• Phenylephrine (2.5 mg): As a decongestant, phenylephrine stimulates alpha receptors in the nasal blood vessels, causing them to constrict. This action reduces nasal congestion and swelling.

• Store Asthakind-DX Junior Syrup at room temperature, ideally between 15°C and 30°C.

• Keep the medicine away from direct light and moisture to protect its effectiveness.

• Always ensure the bottle is tightly closed after use.

• Remember to keep this syrup out of the reach of children for safety.

• Check the expiry date on the bottle, and make sure to discard any unused portion 6 months after opening.
