About Astymin 3 Injection 20ml

Astymin-3 Injection is primarily used to manage protein deficiencies and malabsorption conditions, particularly when oral feeding isn't feasible. It's a combination medicine classified as a parenteral nutrition supplement.

Besides its primary function, this medicine also proves beneficial in correcting nitrogen loss before or after surgery and in tackling negative nitrogen balance caused by chronic illnesses such as cancer, persistent fever, and kidney failure, amongst others. It serves as an auxiliary treatment for hepatic encephalopathy.

This Injection contains a combination of amino acids and sorbitol. The amino acids include Glycine (10 mg), L-Arginine (8 mg), L-Leucine (12.3 mg), L-Threonine (5.4 mg), L-Tryptophan (1.8 mg), L-Histidine (4 mg), L-Isoleucine (5.5 mg), L-Lysine Hydrochloride (22.3 mg), L-Methionine (7.1 mg), L-Phenylalanine (8.7 mg), and L-Valine (6.1 mg). These amino acids are essential for various metabolic processes and protein synthesis in the body. It also contains Sorbitol (50 mg) to provide osmotic support.

You should administer this medicine as directed by your doctor. Before you start using this Injection, make sure to inform your doctor about any pre-existing conditions or any ongoing medications. If you notice any side effects while using this medicine, alert your doctor right away.
