About Azithral 500 Tablet

Azithral 500 Tablet is primarily used to manage various bacterial infections in different parts of the body. This medication is particularly beneficial for managing respiratory tract infections like acute bacterial sinusitis, community-acquired pneumonia, and pharyngitis/tonsillitis. This medicine belongs to the group of medications known as macrolide antibiotics.

It's also effective for otitis media (middle ear infection), skin and soft tissue infection, and certain sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) like gonorrhoea. Furthermore, it can be utilised for managing conditions like typhoid fever and disseminated Mycobacterium avium complex infection in HIV patients.
