Azithral Jr Oral Suspension is used for managing the following conditions in children:

• Mild to moderate bacterial sinusitis

• Community-acquired pneumonia in children

• Pharyngitis and tonsillitis

• Acute otitis media, an infection of the middle ear

• Uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections

• Acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

• Genital ulcer disease

To give Azithral Jr Oral Suspension to your child, follow the instructions below:

• Shake the bottle well before use.

• Use a dosing syringe or medicine cup to measure the exact quantity recommended by your doctor.

• The suspension can be given directly or mixed with a small amount of water.

• Give the medicine at evenly spaced times as advised by your doctor for the best effect.

• If your child's stomach becomes upset, giving the medicine with food may help.

Azithral Jr Oral Suspension contains azithromycin (40 mg), which acts on the body in the following ways:
