• Bronchitis: Bronchitis is a respiratory tract infection characterised by a persistent cough, chest congestion, shortness of breath, and fatigue. Aziwok 500 can treat bronchitis by targeting the causative bacteria and reducing inflammation in the bronchial tubes.
• Pneumonia: It is an infection of the respiratory tract characterised by fever, cough with phlegm, chest pain, difficulty breathing, and fatigue. This medication can inhibit bacterial growth and aid in the recovery process.
• Sinusitis: Sinusitis is characterised by facial pain or pressure, nasal congestion, thick nasal discharge, and headache. This tablet can alleviate symptoms of sinusitis and target the underlying bacterial infection.
• Chlamydia: It is a sexually transmitted infection characterised by genital discharge, pain during urination, lower abdominal pain (in women), and testicular pain (in men). Aziwok tablet is effective against the bacteria causing this infection. It may be taken as part of the treatment regimen for chlamydia infections.
• Gonorrhoea: Gonorrhoea is also a sexually transmitted infection characterised by genital discharge, pain during urination, increased urination frequency, and swollen testicles (in men). This antibiotic can treat certain strains of gonorrhoea, targeting the bacteria responsible for the infection.
• Tonsillitis: Tonsillitis is characterised by a sore throat, swollen tonsils, difficulty swallowing, fever, and tender lymph nodes in the neck. This tablet can help eradicate the infection and reduce associated symptoms.
• Conjunctivitis (Pink eye): It is an eye infection marked by redness and itching in the eye, watery or thick discharge, and crusty eyelashes. The medication can help clear the infection and alleviate symptoms.
• Cellulitis: Cellulitis is a skin infection characterised by symptoms such as redness, swelling, tenderness of the skin, warmth at the affected area, pain, and swollen lymph nodes. Aziwok can treat bacterial cellulitis, helping to combat the underlying infection and promote healing.
• Impetigo: It is a skin infection characterised by red sores or blisters, itching, and fluid-filled lesions. This medication can target the causative bacteria and aid in the resolution of impetigo.
• Folliculitis: Folliculitis is a skin infection marked by inflamed hair follicles, small red bumps or pustules around hair follicles, and itching. Aziwok 500 can be used in certain cases of bacterial folliculitis to help eliminate the infection and reduce inflammation in the affected follicles.

• Swallow Aziwok 500 mg tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew this medicine, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
• Do not change the dose of the medicine or take them more often than prescribed.

Aziwok 500 should be administered orally.

• Azithromycin, the active ingredient in Aziwok 500 mg tablet, is an antibiotic medication with a broad spectrum of activity against various bacterial infections. It belongs to the macrolide class of antibiotics. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial proteins, thereby preventing the growth and multiplication of bacteria. 
• This antibiotic is effective against a wide range of bacteria. Targeting bacterial infection, it helps relieve symptoms and promote recovery. It is not effective against viral infections.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Aziwok tablet away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Drink plenty of fluids, such as water and herbal teas, to stay hydrated and support the body's immune system in fighting the infection.
• Consume a well-balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. These provide essential nutrients and antioxidants to support the immune system.
• Incorporate foods high in vitamin C, such as citrus fruits, strawberries, bell peppers, and broccoli. Vitamin C helps boost the immune system and promotes healing.
• Include probiotic-rich foods like yoghurt, kefir, and fermented vegetables to support gut health, which is crucial for a strong immune response.
• Smoking weakens the immune system and can worsen respiratory infections. Quit smoking or avoid exposure to secondhand smoke.
• Practise good hygiene by washing hands regularly, especially before meals, and avoid close contact with individuals who are sick to prevent the spread of infections.
