Befer Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing anaemia caused by deficiencies of iron, vitamin B12, and folic acid

• Encouraging healthy formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin

• Supporting a healthy pregnancy by preventing neural tube defects

• Boosting the immune function and assisting in wound healing

• Promoting proper functioning of the nervous system

• Facilitating healthy growth and development in adolescents

• Assisting in managing certain gastrointestinal disorders and malabsorption syndromes

Taking Befer Tablet is easy if you follow these steps:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• You can take it with or without food as per your preference.

• For consistent levels of nutrients in your body, try to take this medicine at the same time each day.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Never take more than the prescribed dose without consulting your doctor.

Befer Tablet contains four key active ingredients:

• Cyanocobalamin (5 mcg): This is a form of Vitamin B12 which plays a significant role in maintaining brain function and creating new red blood cells. It also assists in metabolising proteins, fats and carbohydrates.

• Elemental Iron (60 mg): Iron is an essential component of haemoglobin which transports oxygen in the blood. It contributes to the production of red blood cells and bolsters the immune system as well as cognitive function.

• Elemental Zinc (15 mg): Zinc aids wound healing, strengthens immune function and supports cell division. It's also crucial for growth during pregnancy, childhood and adolescence.

• Folic Acid (1 mg): Folic acid is vital for DNA synthesis and repair. It produces red blood cells thus preventing anaemia. In early pregnancy stages, it helps prevent neural tube defects in developing foetuses.

Store Befer Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keeping a diet rich in B vitamins can also help. Foods like eggs, milk, cheese, fish, and fortified breakfast cereals can boost your vitamin B12 levels.
