Bharglob 10% Injection is used for the following:

• Boosting the immune system in adults and children over 2 years who have Primary/Secondary Humoral Immunodeficiency.
• Raising platelet counts in patients struggling with Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura.

When it comes to the administration of Bharglob 10% Injection, please follow these guidelines:

• Bharglob 10% Injection should only be administered by a healthcare professional.
• It is injected intramuscularly, i.e., into the muscle, either in the upper arm, hip, thigh, or buttocks.
• Remember, it's important to consult your doctor for specific advice on how this injection should be administered.

Bharglob 10% Injection is administered intramuscularly (IM).

Bharglob 10% Injection contains gammaglobulin (10%), which works on your body as follows:

• Broad spectrum of IgG antibodies: Gammaglobulin contains a wide range of IgG antibodies that act against various infectious agents, such as bacteria and viruses. These antibodies attach themselves to specific antigens found on pathogens or foreign substances, indicating to your immune system that they have been marked for destruction.
• Enhancing phagocytosis: By attaching themselves to these antigens, the antibodies promote phagocytosis, a process where cells engulf harmful particles, thereby neutralising them.
• Suppresses harmful inflammation: This injection suppresses harmful inflammation in autoimmune disorders like ITP. This includes blocking certain receptors on macrophages, a type of white blood cell, which reduces platelet destruction. It also involves managing the production of autoantibodies.

• Store Bharglob 10% Injection at a cool temperature between 2-8°C.

• If you have Primary/Secondary Humoral Immunodeficiency, consuming a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, lean protein, and whole grains can support overall health and immunity.
• For Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP), avoid activities that could lead to injury or bruising, as they may cause bleeding.
