Biodine Ointment 15gm is used for the following:

• Managing infections in minor cuts and scrapes

• Controlling skin infections such as impetigo, folliculitis, and furunculosis

• Assisting in the management of fungal skin infections like athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm

Follow these instructions while using Biodine Ointment 15gm:

• Ensure that the affected area is clean and dry before application.

• Apply the ointment to the affected area using your fingertip or a clean cotton swab.

• The amount of ointment required will depend on the size of the wound or infection.

• Gently massage the product into the skin, covering the entire affected area with a thin layer of ointment.

Biodine Ointment 15gm contains povidone-iodine (5%), which acts on the body as follows:

• Slow Release of Iodine: The povidone iodine in Biodine Ointment 15gm slowly releases iodine upon application. This iodine subsequently penetrates the cell walls of microorganisms impacting their function.

• Wide-Spectrum Antimicrobial Action: Povidone iodine's broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity effectively manages a wide array of pathogens, including bacteria, fungi, viruses, and protozoa.

• Keep The 5% ointment of coldine at room temperature.

• Store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Ensure the container is tightly sealed when not in use.

• Keep this product out of reach of children to avoid accidental ingestion or misuse.
