Bisoheart-AM 2.5 Tablet is used for the following:

Bisoheart-AM 2.5 Tablet contains two active ingredients that work together to lower your blood pressure:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): This component blocks the movement of calcium into vascular smooth muscle and heart muscle cells. By doing this, it relaxes your blood vessels, reducing the resistance to blood flow and thus lowering blood pressure. It has a stronger effect on blood vessel cells than heart muscle cells.

• Bisoprolol (2.5 mg): This ingredient selectively blocks beta1-adrenergic receptors in the heart. This reduces both the speed and force of your heartbeats, which in turn decreases the amount of blood pumped out by your heart and lowers blood pressure. At higher doses, bisoprolol may also block beta2-adrenergic receptors in the airway and blood vessel muscles.
