Blocacid 20 MG Tablet 14 is used for the following health conditions:

• Managing heartburn caused by acid indigestion and sour stomach
• Prevention and management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) symptoms
• Helping peptic ulcers in the stomach and intestines to heal
• Controlling conditions that lead to excessive acid production in the stomach, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome

Here's how you should take Blocacid 20 MG Tablet 14:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or break it.
• To prevent heartburn symptoms, take one tablet 10 to 60 minutes before eating food or drinking beverages that may cause heartburn.
• Do not exceed two tablets within 24 hours unless instructed by your doctor.

Blocacid 20 MG Tablet 14 is taken orally.

Blocacid 20 MG Tablet 14 contains famotidine (20 mg), which acts on your body in the following ways:
