Administer Bonista 3 ml Injection as follows:

• This medicine is administered as a subcutaneous injection into your thigh or abdominal wall.

• Rotate the injection sites to prevent skin irritation.

• The pen containing this medicine needs to be primed before the first use of each new pen.

• The pen should be stored in a refrigerator but can be kept at room temperature for up to 28 days.

• Safely dispose of any unused medication after 28 days.

Bonista 3 ml Injection contains multiple components that function collectively:

• Teriparatide (250 mcg): This synthetic form of parathyroid hormone plays a vital role in managing calcium and phosphate levels in your body. It stimulates the creation of new bone on existing bone surfaces by activating osteoblasts (bone-forming cells) more than it activates osteoclasts (bone-resorbing cells). The overall effect is an increase in bone mass and strength.

• Succinic Acid USP (0.29 mg): It helps maintain the stability and effectiveness of the primary active ingredient, teriparatide, ensuring its optimal performance when administered.

• Sodium Hydroxide IP (0.05 mg): Acts as a pH adjuster to maintain the correct acidity level, which is crucial for the stability and effectiveness of teriparatide.

• Glycerol IP (50 mg): Serves as a stabilising agent and humectant, ensuring that the solution remains well-mixed and effective over its shelf life.
