Campicillin 500 Capsule is an antibiotic that is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections. It treats infections of the throat, ear, sinuses, respiratory tract (including pneumonia), urinary tract, skin and soft tissue, and typhoid fever. Campicillin 500 Capsule is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that inhibits and kills a wide range of bacteria. This medicine should be taken first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Use it on a regular basis, as directed by your doctor, at equally spaced intervals. It will be easier for you to remember to take it if you take it at the same time every day. Even if you feel better, do not miss any doses and complete the entire course of treatment. Stopping the treatment too soon could cause the infection to recur or worsen. Your doctor will choose the overall length of therapy and precise dosage based on the type of infection you have and how well you respond to the medicine. If you are allergic to penicillin or other penicillin-like medicine, tell your doctor before using this medicine. Some people may experience rashes, vomiting, allergic reactions, nausea, and diarrhoea as adverse effects. These are generally only transitory and go away fast. If any of these adverse effects persist or if your condition worsens, contact your doctor. If used under the supervision of a doctor, this drug is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy.
