Candid-CL Gel is used for managing the following conditions:

• Mixed vaginal infections caused by yeast and bacteria susceptible to the gel's ingredients

• Bacterial vaginosis due to an overgrowth of anaerobic bacteria in the vagina

• Vulvovaginal candidiasis: A type of fungal infection in the vagina caused by yeast species

Use Candid-CL Gel as per the instructions below:

• Clean your hands thoroughly before and after using this gel.

• Apply the gel as per the dosage and frequency prescribed by your doctor.

• Each applicator is for single use only. Discard after use.

Candid-CL Gel contains two active ingredients:

• Clotrimazole (2% w/w): Clotrimazole works by disrupting the protective barrier in the fungal cells, making it hard for them to function properly. This disruption prevents the fungi from producing a substance called ergosterol, which is crucial for their growth and survival. Without enough ergosterol, the fungal cells become weak, unable to grow, and eventually die off.

• Clindamycin (2% w/w): Clindamycin is a lincosamide antibiotic that fights bacterial infections. It works by targeting the bacteria in your body and preventing them from making the proteins they need to survive. This action disrupts the bacteria's ability to multiply and spread, ultimately helping your body to fight off the infection.

• Store Candid-CL Gel below 25°C for optimal preservation.
