• Pharyngitis: Pharyngitis and tonsillitis are infections that lead to swelling in the throat and tonsils. When these infections affect the throat and the tonsils, it is called pharyngotonsillitis. Ceftum 500 mg tablet treat pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and pharyngotonsillitis.
• Sinusitis: Sinusitis is the swelling of membranes that line your nose and surrounding sinuses. It is often caused by bacteria and, sometimes, viruses and fungi. You may experience a stuffy nose and pain or pressure behind your eyes, nose, cheeks, or forehead. Ceftum 500 mg tablet treats bacterial sinusitis and provides relief in three to eight weeks.
• Bronchitis: Bronchitis causes swelling and irritation of the bronchi, controlling air passage in the lungs. Ceftum tablets treat bronchitis caused by bacteria. It is also used to treat a sudden worsening of chronic bronchitis (long-term bronchi inflammation) and subsequent bronchitis episodes.
• Skin and soft tissue infections: Skin and soft tissue infections appear when bacteria invade the skin and its supporting structures. Ceftum 500 mg tablets treat all skin infections, including abscesses caused by bacteria.
• Urinary tract infections (UTI): UTI is an infection in the kidneys, bladder, ureters, or urethra. It is highly prevalent among humans, with women particularly susceptible to acquiring this type of infection. Bacteria cause UTIs and, in some cases, viruses or fungi. Ceftum 500 mg tablets treat urinary tract infections caused by bacteria.
• Lyme disease: Lyme disease is an infection spread to humans through the bite of infected black-legged ticks that carry the bacteria. This can be treated in a few weeks by using antibiotics. Ceftum 500 mg tablets treat Lyme disease.
• Middle ear infections (Media otitis): Ceftum 500 mg tablets can treat middle ear infections common in children. The medication is effective against many bacteria that cause middle ear infections, including streptococcus pneumoniae, haemophilus influenzae, and moraxella catarrhalis.

• Ceftum 500 mg tablets should be taken as your doctor recommends.
• Swallow it as a whole with water after your meal to avoid stomach discomfort.
