Cerviprime 0.5 MG Gel 3 GM

Cerviprime 0.5mg Gel is used in:

• Maturing the cervix in pregnant women or when nearing the end of pregnancy for inducing labour 
• It is also indicated for the clearing of the uterine contents in the management of missed abortions and fetal death inside the uterus within 28 weeks of pregnancy.
• Also indicated in the management of non-metastatic gestational trophoblastic disease (benign hydatidiform mole)

• Cerviprime 0.5mg Gel is for external use only. 
• Use it in dose and duration as prescribed per doctor.
• Clean and dry the part of the body where you are applying this gel; wash your hands after applying the medicine.
• It is not for self-use. It's applied only in hospital or clinic setups under the doctor’s supervision. 
• Use of this gel is done only during the labour stage. The doctor will give you the necessary information about it. 
• The doctor will assess the application area for contractions and monitor it regularly, and if required, the second round of gel application will be done. 

Cerviprime 0.5 mg Gel is an external application medicine. It is applied on the skin’s surface. 

Cerviprime 0.5mg Gel contains the following component:

• Dinoprostone (0.5 mg): It is a prostaglandin analogue that works similarly to prostaglandin E2 by relaxing of uterus's smooth muscles during labour. It works by stimulation at the stage of pregnancy where the uterus is in a stuck position. and causes the release of uterus contents. 

• Store in cold temperatures not above -20 and -10 degrees Celsius, away from light and moisture.
• Keep the medicine stored in the container in which it was sold. 
• Keep it away from the reach of children. 

• You may have to lie down after giving the Cerviprime 0.5mg Gel for up to 30 minutes to 1 hour until it's absorbed completely. 
• Let your doctor know if you are allergic to dinoprostone or any of the constituents of Cerviprime 0.5mg Gel.
• Let the doctor know your pregnancy and medical history, including if you are suffering from asthma, full-term births, cesarean injection birth, fungal infections, glaucoma, vaginal infections, surgery of womb and cervix, vaginal bleeding during pregnancy, scarring of the womb. 
• Cerviprime 0.5mg Gel should be strictly considered if it is clearly needed. Risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor.
