Cilacar T 80 Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing high blood pressure levels, also known as hypertension

• Helping to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attack and stroke in patients with heart disease or blood vessel disease who are unable to use ACE inhibitors

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing, breaking, or chewing the tablet.

• Ensure you take this medicine at the same time each day for optimal benefits.

• Do not stop taking this medication without consulting your doctor first.

Cilacar T 80 Tablet is taken orally.

Cilacar T 80 Tablet combines two active ingredients to manage high blood pressure:

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker. This means it blocks incoming calcium ions in the blood vessels. As a result, blood vessels relax and widen, which reduces blood pressure and improves blood flow to the heart.

• Telmisartan (80 mg): Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the action of angiotensin II, a substance in the body that causes blood vessels to tighten.
