Ciplactin Tablet 15

Ciplactin Tablet is used in:

• Perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis: This tablet can be used to alleviate symptoms of allergies occurring during specific seasons or year-round, providing relief from sneezing, runny nose, and nasal congestion caused by allergies.
• Vasomotor rhinitis: It also helps manage rhinitis symptoms due to tissue inflammation in the nose.
• Allergic conjunctivitis: This tablet also eases eye irritation and redness triggered by allergies to air or certain foods.
• Mild and uncomplicated skin allergies: This tablet is also effective for alleviating hives and swelling associated with allergies on the skin.
• Cold urticaria: This tablet can be beneficial in managing hives triggered by exposure to cold temperatures.
• Dermatographism (urticarial eruption upon pressure or trauma to skin): It helps alleviate the skin sensitivity and hives resulting from scratching or friction on the skin.
• Anaphylactic reactions adjunctive to epinephrine and other standard measures: This tablet can also be used as a supplementary treatment following the initial control of severe allergic reactions in combination with epinephrine and other medications.
• Appetite stimulant: This tablet helps people who can't eat enough to gain weight. It boosts appetite by increasing serotonin levels in the body. This is useful for those recovering from illnesses or undergoing treatments that make them lose weight.

• It is best to swallow the tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• While you can take it with or without food, taking the tablet at the same fixed time is recommended for optimal results.

Ciplactin Tablet is to be taken orally. 

Ciplactin Tablet contains the following component;

• Cyproheptadine (4 mg): It is an antihistamine that blocks the effects of histamine, which is involved in allergic reactions. By inhibiting histamine, it alleviates allergy symptoms like itching, sneezing, runny nose, and skin rashes. Additionally, it can have a mild sedative effect, which can be useful in managing certain allergic conditions.

• Ciplactin Tablet should be stored at room temperature, under 30°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep the medicine away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Identify and minimise your exposure to pollen, dust mites, and pet dander.
• Keep your living space clean, and consider using allergen-proof covers for pillows and mattresses.
• Wear loose-fitting, breathable clothing to minimise skin irritation.
• Apply fragrance-free moisturisers to keep your skin hydrated.
• Minimise your exposure to cold temperatures in the case of cold urticaria.
• Refrain them from excessive scratching or friction in the case of dermatographism.
