Cipladine Lotion is used for the following:

For best results with Cipladine Lotion, follow these steps:

• Shake the bottle well before each use.

• Cleanse and dry the area you wish to apply the lotion on.

• Apply a thin layer of lotion onto the affected area.

• Massage the lotion gently until it is fully absorbed into your skin.

• After application, make sure to wash your hands thoroughly.

Cipladine Lotion contains three active ingredients which contribute towards its therapeutic effects:

• Calamine (8%): Known for its skin-protecting and anti-itching properties, calamine works by forming a protective barrier on the skin that reduces irritation and promotes healing. Its mild astringent and antiseptic effects help dry out oozing or weeping rashes and prevent infection.

• Diphenhydramine (1%): As an antihistamine, diphenhydramine blocks histamine - a substance released during allergic reactions causing itching, redness, and swelling. By inhibiting histamine, it reduces these symptoms providing relief from itching and irritation. It also has local anaesthetic properties that help numb the affected area reducing discomfort.

• Ethanol (2.37%): Ethanol acts as a solvent and penetration enhancer in the lotion formulation. It helps dissolve the other ingredients and facilitates their absorption into the skin. It also offers mild antiseptic and drying effects, helping to clean the affected area, reduce moisture, prevent bacterial growth and promote healing.

• Store Cipladine Lotion at room temperature, ideally between 15-30°C.

• Keep the lotion in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Ensure the bottle is tightly closed when not in use.
