Clobate GM Cream 15 GM

The Clobate GM Cream is used in the treatment of:

• Resistant skin infections (Secondary bacterial/fungal infection is present)

• Clean and thoroughly dry the affected area before applying the cream. 
• After application, remember to wash your hands unless the affected area is on your hands.

The Clobate GM Cream is for external use only, so apply it on the affected area as directed.

The Clobate GM Cream contains the following components:

• Clobetasol propionate (0.05% w/w): It is a corticosteroid that binds to specific receptors in skin cells, affecting gene expression. This action reduces inflammation and suppresses the immune response, alleviating redness and swelling.
• Miconazole nitrate (2% w/w): It is an antifungal that interferes with fungal cell membranes by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis. This disrupts the integrity of the fungal cell, ultimately leading to its death.
• Neomycin sulphate (0.5% w/w): It is an antibiotic that inhibits protein synthesis in bacteria by binding to ribosomal RNA. This disruption prevents bacterial growth and helps control or prevent bacterial infections at a molecular level.

The storage instructions for Clobate GM Cream are as follows:

• Clobate GM Cream should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Excess sugar can exacerbate skin conditions. Minimise your consumption of sugary foods and drinks to help control inflammation.
• If you notice certain foods worsen your skin condition (common in conditions like eczema or acne), try to identify and avoid them.
• Use mild, fragrance-free soaps and cleansers to avoid further irritation. Always try to pat your skin dry instead of rubbing, and moisturise regularly to maintain skin barrier function.
• Ensure your living space is clean, and launder bed linens and clothing regularly to prevent bacterial or fungal growth.
• Shield your skin from excessive sun exposure with sunscreen and protective clothing. Sunburn can exacerbate skin issues.
• Moderate physical activity improves circulation and can benefit skin health. Be mindful of sweating, as it can exacerbate certain conditions; ensure you cleanse your skin post-workout.
