Clopilet A 150 Capsule is used to prevent blood clots and to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke in people with heart disease or circulation problems. It is often prescribed after heart procedures or for long-term protection in those at high risk.
It contains clopidogrel and aspirin, two antiplatelet medicines that work together to stop blood platelets from clumping together and forming clots. Swallow the capsule whole as prescribed and do not stop it without medical advice, as stopping can raise the risk of a clot.
Because this medicine reduces blood clotting, take extra care to avoid unnecessary injury. Use a soft toothbrush, take care with sharp objects, and always tell any doctor, dentist, or pharmacist that you take this medicine before any procedure or new treatment.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any history of bleeding, stomach ulcers, liver disease, or planned surgery. Tell your doctor about any unusual or heavy bleeding. It is generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
