You should take Cofsils Syrup in the following way:

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

Cofsils Syrup is taken orally. 

Cofsils Syrup contains the following components:

• Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride (14.8 mg): Diphenhydramine hydrochloride is a sedative antihistamine that works by inhibiting the action of histamine, a naturally occurring chemical in the body. Histamine is released during allergic reactions and is responsible for symptoms such as sneezing, itching, runny nose, and watery eyes. By blocking histamine receptors, Diphenhydramine prevents these symptoms from occurring, providing relief from allergies and respiratory discomfort.
• Ammonium Chloride (138 mg): Ammonium chloride acts as an expectorant, which means it helps clear mucus or phlegm from the respiratory tract. It works by breaking down and reducing the stickiness or viscosity of the mucus, making it thinner and easier to expel through coughing.
• Sodium Citrate (57.03 mg): Sodium citrate serves as a mucolytic and decongestant. It works by altering the composition of mucus, making it less thick and sticky. This makes it easier for the body to expel the mucus during coughing.

The storage instructions for Cofsils Syrup are as follows:

• Store this syrup at room temperature, around 25°C, and protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use this medication once its expiration date has passed.

• Gargle with warm salt water to relieve an irritated throat. Take a half-teaspoon of salt in a full glass of warm water. Gargle it many times a day to clear throat infection.
