Concor AM 2.5 Tablet is used for the following:

• Management of high blood pressure or hypertension

• Lowering the risk of serious cardiovascular events such as stroke and heart attack in future

• Control of blood pressure levels when single antihypertensive agents fail to do so

Here's how you should take Concor AM 2.5 Tablet:

• Take the tablet whole, with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

• Ensure to take it at the same time each day, preferably before breakfast, for better efficacy.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Concor AM 2.5 Tablet is taken orally.

Concor AM 2.5 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): This ingredient belongs to a group of medicines known as calcium channel blockers. Amlodipine works by relaxing the muscles in your blood vessels, causing them to open wider. This reduces the resistance in your blood vessels, which helps lower your blood pressure.

• Bisoprolol (2.5 mg): This component is a type of beta-blocker that targets specific receptors in your heart, known as beta-1 adrenergic receptors.
