• Antitussives: If your child is already taking other cough suppressants like dextromethorphan or codeine, using Coscopin Paediatric Suspension concurrently may lead to excessive suppression of the cough reflex.

• Antidepressants: Noscapine in the medicine can enhance the sedative effects of tricyclic antidepressants, MAO inhibitors and SSRIs such as amitriptyline, phenelzine and fluoxetine respectively. This might make your child feel more drowsy or sleepy.
