Covance Ct 50/12.5 MG Tablet 10 is used for the following:

Follow these instructions while taking Covance Ct 50/12.5 MG Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Covance Ct 50/12.5 MG Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Losartan (50 mg): This component is an angiotensin II receptor blocker that prevents blood vessel narrowing. It blocks the action of angiotensin II, a substance that causes constriction of arteries and raises blood pressure. By blocking this effect, losartan helps relax and widen blood vessels, improving blood flow and reducing pressure.

• Chlorthalidone (12.5 mg): This is a thiazide-like diuretic that increases urine production and elimination. It works by inhibiting the reabsorption of sodium and chloride in the kidneys, which increases urination and helps reduce excess fluid volume in the body, thereby lowering blood pressure.

• Store Covance Ct 50/12.5 MG Tablet 10 at room temperature (not exceeding 30°C).

• Store protected from light and moisture.

• Keep out of reach of children.
