D Rozavel 10 Tablet is used in the management of the following:

• Managing high cholesterol and mixed lipid disorders

• Preventing heart disease in high-risk patients

• Addressing both high cholesterol and vitamin D deficiency concurrently

• Assisting in the management of bone conditions like osteoporosis in patients with high cholesterol levels

When taking D Rozavel 10 Tablet, please follow these steps:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• It's important not to crush or chew the tablet before swallowing.

• You can take it with or without food.

• Always take the recommended dose, no more or less, unless your doctor advises otherwise.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor first.

D Rozavel 10 Tablet is taken orally.

D Rozavel 10 Tablet consists of two active ingredients that act together to bring about its effects:

• Rosuvastatin (10 mg): This component works by inhibiting an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase in your liver. The enzyme is responsible for making cholesterol in your body. By blocking its action, rosuvastatin effectively reduces the levels of "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and increases "good" cholesterol (HDL) in your blood.

• Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) (1000 IU): As a vitamin supplement, it aids in the absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus, elements essential for bone health. This component also helps manage muscle pain that can be induced by the consumption of statin medications like rosuvastatin.

• Keep D Rozavel 10 Tablet in a cool and dry place, ideally not exceeding 25°C.

• Shelter the medicine from direct light and moisture to maintain its effectiveness.

• The tablet should always be out of the reach and sight of children.

• Make sure you use the medicine before its expiry date.

• Reduce your intake of fatty meats and dairy products while increasing fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

• Avoid excessive alcohol consumption as it can raise your cholesterol levels and potentially damage your liver.

• Engage in regular physical activity such as walking or cycling which can help lower bad cholesterol (LDL) and increase good cholesterol (HDL).

• Stop smoking if you do, as smoking lowers your good cholesterol, raises your bad cholesterol, and increases your risk of heart disease.

• If you are deficient in Vitamin D3, increase your exposure to sunlight and consume foods rich in Vitamin D3 like fish, egg yolks, cheese, and fortified cereals.
