Dayo OD 250 Tablet is used for the following:

• Management of complex partial seizures

• Handling simple and complex absence seizures

• Addressing acute manic or mixed episodes associated with bipolar disorder

• Prevention of migraine headaches

Here are instructions on how to take Dayo OD 250 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid crushing or chewing it.

• Stick to the dose recommended by your doctor and do not exceed it.

• Always consult your doctor before stopping this medicine.

Dayo OD 250 Tablet is taken orally.

Dayo OD 250 Tablet contains Divalproex (250 mg), which works on your body in the following ways:

• Increases Brain Concentration of GABA: Divalproex increases the levels of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain. GABA is an inhibitory neurotransmitter, which means it blocks certain brain signals and decreases activity in your nervous system.

• Inhibits GABA Degradation: Divalproex prevents the breakdown of GABA, further enhancing its inhibitory action in the brain.

• Blocks Voltage-Dependent Sodium Channels and T-Type Calcium Currents: By blocking these channels and currents, Divalproex reduces the excitation of neurons, helping to control seizures and stabilize mood.

• Keep your Dayo OD 250 Tablet in a tightly closed container.

• Store at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Avoid exposure to excess moisture or direct sunlight.

• Ensure it's out of reach and sight of children.

• For managing epilepsy: Regular physical exercise, under your doctor's guidance, may help reduce the frequency of seizures. Just remember not to overdo it and ensure you're well hydrated during workouts.
