Dec-Forte Tablet contains two key components that work together to manage worm infestations:

• Diethylcarbamazine (250 mg): This component acts as an antiparasitic agent that reduces the muscular activity of the parasitic worms, leading to their paralysis. By interfering with the nervous system functionality of these worms, diethylcarbamazine disrupts their metabolism and hinders their growth.

• Chlorpheniramine (5 mg): As an antihistamine, chlorpheniramine helps manage allergic symptoms like coughing, breathlessness, and itching that are often triggered by worm infections. It also reduces the count of eosinophils – a type of white blood cell that typically increases in response to worm infestations.
