Domcare O Capsule 10

Domcare-O Capsule is used for managing the following conditions:

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease, a condition where stomach acid frequently flows back into the tube connecting your mouth and stomach, causing a burning chest pain known as heartburn.

• Dyspepsia, also known as indigestion, producing a feeling of discomfort in the upper part of your stomach.

• Peptic ulcer disease, where painful sores or ulcers develop in the lining of your stomach or the first part of your small intestine.

• Nausea and vomiting, which could be related to various causes.

To use Domcare-O Capsule properly:

• Take this medicine orally with a glass of water.

• Swallow the capsule whole without breaking or crushing it.

• In case you have difficulty swallowing, open the capsule and sprinkle its contents onto a spoonful of applesauce. Swallow immediately without chewing.

• Always take this medicine before meals.

• Remember to consult your doctor for specific advice on how to use this medicine.

Domcare-O Capsule is taken orally.

Domcare-O Capsule consists of two active ingredients:

• Domperidone (10 mg): This component works as an antiemetic and prokinetic agent. It blocks certain receptors in your body known as dopamine-2 receptors, preventing feelings of nausea and vomiting. Additionally, it enhances the movement of food through your digestive system by acting on these receptors in your gastrointestinal tract.

• Omeprazole (20 mg): Classified as a proton pump inhibitor, omeprazole works by inhibiting a system in your stomach known as H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system. This action reduces the production of stomach acid, which helps heal damaged areas in conditions like GERD and peptic ulcers.

• Store Domcare-O Capsule in a cool, dry and dark place.

• Keep the capsule away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Always keep this medicine out of the reach of children.

• Ensure you use the capsule before its expiry date.

• If you're taking Domcare-O Capsule for gastroesophageal reflux disease, avoid high-fat, spicy foods that can trigger heartburn. Instead, opt for a diet rich in lean proteins, vegetables, and whole grains.

• Regular physical activity helps improve digestion and reduce symptoms of dyspepsia and acid reflux. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise such as brisk walking or swimming, most days of the week.
