Dompan Tablet is used to manage different health conditions, Here are some of the conditions it can help with:

• Peptic ulcers: Open sores in the lining of the stomach or small intestine that cause pain and discomfort.
• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD): A chronic condition where stomach acid flows back into the oesophagus, causing heartburn and acid regurgitation.
• Reflux esophagitis: Inflammation of the oesophagus due to acid reflux, leading to symptoms like chest pain and difficulty swallowing.
• Nausea and vomiting: Feeling sick and throwing up, often caused by various factors such as stomach infections or medication side effects.
• Acidity: Dompan Tablet manages excess acid production in the stomach.
• Heartburn: A burning sensation in the chest caused by stomach acid flowing back into the oesophagus.
• Dyspepsia: Also known as indigestion, it causes symptoms like bloating, fullness, and discomfort after eating.
• Acid-related Dyspepsia: Similar to dyspepsia but specifically caused by excess stomach acid.
• Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: Dompan Tablet manages where tumours in the pancreas or small intestine cause excess production of stomach acid.

• Swallow the whole Dompan Tablet with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
• Do not change your tablet dose or take them more often than prescribed.

Dompan Tablet should be taken orally.

Dompan Tablet contains the following components:

• Domperidone (10 mg): It is a dopamine antagonist that helps to improve the movement of food through the digestive system. It works by blocking a specific receptor in the digestive tract, which increases the contractions of the muscles and helps food move more smoothly.
• Pantoprazole (20 mg): It reduces the production of stomach acid by blocking the enzyme responsible for producing acid in the stomach. By reducing the amount of acid, pantoprazole helps to relieve symptoms such as heartburn and allows the healing of peptic ulcers.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Dompan Tablet away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Instead of large meals, opt for smaller portions throughout the day. It helps prevent excessive stomach acid production and reduces the likelihood of acid reflux.
• Alcohol can aggravate symptoms of GERD and delay ulcer healing. Limit alcohol consumption to improve your condition.
• Eat slowly and chew your food thoroughly for proper digestion and reduce the risk of acid reflux. Take your time while eating, and avoid rushing.
• Sit up straight while eating and avoid lying down immediately after meals. It helps prevent stomach acid from flowing back into the oesophagus.
