Dosetil Cream 15gm

Dosetil Cream is used for managing the following health conditions:

• Managing mild to moderate atopic dermatitis in patients aged 3 months and above. Atopic dermatitis, also known as eczema, is a chronic skin condition that can cause red and itchy rashes.

Follow these guidelines while using Dosetil Cream:

• Make sure that the affected skin area is clean and dry before application.

• Apply a thin layer of the prescribed amount of cream to the affected areas as directed by the doctor.

• Rub the cream gently into the skin until it is completely absorbed.

• Avoid applying the cream on your face, groin, or underarms unless instructed by your doctor.

• It's crucial not to use this medicine for longer than four weeks without consulting your doctor.

Dosetil Cream is applied topically.

Dosetil Cream contains Desonide (0.05 %) and works on your body in the following ways:

• Inducing phospholipase A2 inhibitory proteins: Desonide initiates the production of these specific proteins that inhibit an enzyme called phospholipase A2. This enzyme is involved in releasing arachidonic acid, a substance that causes inflammation.

• Controlling biosynthesis of inflammatory mediators: By reducing the release of arachidonic acid, desonide controls the production of potent inflammatory substances in your body.

• Reduction of inflammation: Through these biochemical actions, desonide effectively reduces inflammation on the skin caused by atopic dermatitis.

• Keep Dosetil Cream at room temperature between 20°C to 25°C.

• Do not freeze the medicine.

• Keep it away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Make sure the tube is tightly closed after use.

• Store it in a place where children cannot reach.

• If you have atopic dermatitis, try to avoid food allergens known to trigger your symptoms. Common culprits may include eggs, milk, peanuts, wheat or soy.

• Keeping your skin moisturised can help manage atopic dermatitis. Regularly apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturiser to help maintain skin hydration.
