Doxol-LB Capsule is used for the following:

• Managing respiratory tract infections

• Tackling urinary tract infections

• Controlling genital infections

• Addressing skin and soft tissue infections

• Dealing with dental infections

• Keeping acne in check

• Preventing anthrax

• Fending off malaria

To use Doxol-LB Capsule correctly, follow these instructions:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a full glass of water.

• Take the capsule preferably at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal.

• Avoid breaking or chewing the capsule.

• Always take this medicine while in an upright position, such as sitting or standing, to prevent irritation of the throat.

Doxol-LB Capsule contains two crucial ingredients that work together as follows:

• Doxycycline (100 mg): This component acts by entering bacterial cells and attaching itself to a part called the 30S ribosomal subunit. By doing so, it stops the synthesis of proteins within these cells, which prevents bacteria from growing and multiplying.

• Lactobacillus (5 billion spores): This probiotic component colonises your gut and helps maintain a healthy balance of intestinal microflora—the good bacteria in your gut. It competes with harmful bacteria for nutrients and places where they might attach themselves to your gut. Additionally, it produces compounds that kill or inhibit harmful bacteria and modulate your immune system.

• Store Doxol-LB Capsule at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Avoid exposing the capsule to direct light and moisture.

• Keep the medicine in its original packaging until you're ready to take it.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Ensure you use the medicine before it reaches its expiry date.

• Stay hydrated: Increasing your fluid intake can help manage urinary tract infections. Drink plenty of water to flush out bacteria from your urinary system.

• Limit sun exposure: Since Doxol-LB Capsule can make you more prone to sunburn, limit your time in the sun, especially during peak hours. Remember to use sunscreen and protective clothing when outdoors.
